An IV drip is worth it when nothing stays down.

If you can still drink, water and oral salts do the same job, and our doctor will tell you so.

A drip puts fluid, electrolytes and medication straight into the bloodstream, bypassing a stomach that may not be absorbing anything. That matters when vomiting means nothing stays down, or when dehydration has already left you too weak to drink enough.

It is not the answer to everything. Every patient is screened by a doctor before anything is set up, and for mild symptoms the right advice is often a bottle of water and some rest. We would rather say that than sell you something you do not need.

What happens after you message us?

One timeline. Most visits are wrapped up within two hours of your first message. Times are typical estimates.

Who comes to your villa?

Our nurses answer your messages, and a doctor reviews every case before anyone leaves. The team works in shifts, so we show you the standard instead of a face. It is the same at 3 pm and at 3 am.

Visit record

Every visit, the same seven things.

  1. Reviewed by a doctor before anyone is sent A nurse takes your symptoms on WhatsApp, then a doctor assesses them.
  2. A doctor and a nurse at your door The doctor checks you, the nurse places the line. Our lead nurse spent 7 years in hospital and 4 in a private clinic, placing IV lines every day. They stay with you for the whole drip.
  3. Gentle with nervous patients Scared of needles? Say so. Our nurses see it every week and take it slowly.
  4. A Pulse Drip ID card at the door So you know exactly who you are letting in.
  5. Sealed supplies, registered medication Single-use kits opened in front of you. Medication registered with BPOM, Indonesia’s drug authority.
  6. Medical record and itemised invoice The two papers travel insurers ask for.
  7. Told plainly when a drip will not help And where to go instead, free of charge.

On shift 24 hours, every day. We speak English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Questions people ask at 2am.

Short, honest answers. If yours is not here, message us and our medical team will reply.

How much does an IV drip in Bali cost?

From IDR 550,000 for our Island Quench hydration drip, up to IDR 2,960,000 for our most complete drip. Every drip is a 500 or 600 ml bag, and every price includes tax, the doctor’s screening and an itemised invoice. Groups of 4 or more get 20% off.

Is IV drip therapy safe?

With a doctor screening first and an experienced nurse placing the line, the risks are small and mostly local: bruising, occasionally a vein that will not take. What makes it unsafe is skipping the screening.

Can I claim this on travel insurance?

Often, when a doctor judged the drip medically necessary, for example for dehydration from Bali belly or flu. Hangover and vitamin drips are usually not covered. We give you a medical record and an itemised invoice, which is what insurers ask for.

I am scared of needles. Is that a problem?

Not at all, and you are far from the only one. Tell us when you message. The nurse who places your line has done it every day for years, explains each step before doing it, and goes at your pace. You can lie down and look away the whole time.

Do you really come out at 3am?

Yes. Overnight is when Bali Belly and hangovers are at their worst.

Can you do a group or an event?

Yes: villas, birthdays, weddings, engagements, hens and bucks parties and retreats. Groups of 4 or more in one booking get 20% off, and every person is screened by our doctor first.

Can you treat children?

Message us first and our doctor will advise. [ANSWER PENDING SIGN-OFF]

When should I go to hospital instead?

Go to hospital now for blurred vision after drinking, chest pain or trouble breathing, or confusion and fainting: a drip at your villa cannot treat those. For anything else that worries you, such as blood in your stool or vomit or a fever past three days, message us first. Our doctor assesses your case and tells you whether a drip at your villa is right or where to go instead. That advice is free, and we will not try to sell you a drip.

Feeling rough
right now?

Message us and describe what is wrong. Our doctor will tell you honestly whether a drip will help.
